MFO’s legal form is that of an ordinary corporation organized under the laws of Michigan as a private single family office.  The Board of Directors set MFO policies and appoint company officers to conduct day to day business.  The Board of Directors is comprised of four family members as well as Timothy C. Sanford, Vice-Chairman.

MFO is a service organization formed to manage family members’ assets, taxes, trusts and partnerships.  MFO derives income solely from fees charged to clients.  In summary, MFO manages 250 separate account entities, serving over 100 clients and private foundations.  The MFO staff has individual average financial services experience in excess of 25 years and is a highly skilled and credentialed team.
